FOODSlot text messages: how a customer opts in

FOODSlot is a first come, first served pickup board for local food vendors at https://foodslot.app, operated by Christopher Nelson as a sole proprietor doing business as FOODSlot. This page shows the sign in card exactly as a customer sees it there. On the site the card opens when the customer taps Sign in at the top right, and inside the hold sheet right after they tap Yes, I want it on a slot of a vendor's board. The form below is a copy for review and sends nothing.

Your number, then a code by text. That is the whole sign in; we ask your name once, after.

Order texts (your code, your receipt) come either way. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

No refunds. Miss your slot and you forfeit your food. Only order what you will pick up.

What the customer agrees to

One-time codes and order texts (the sign in code, the paid receipt with the pickup details and the pick up by time, a text if the vendor cancels their order, a text if their payment came in after their hold ended, a text when a slot opens for them when they are next in line, a text before a window they asked about unlocks, a notice when a sign in code is emailed for their account, and one reminder ten minutes before pickup) go to any customer who signs in with their phone number. The disclosure above the button says so before they tap.
Drop announcements (a vendor whose waiting list they joined posted a new drop) go only to customers who ticked the box. The box is unticked by default and ticking it is optional; it is not a condition of ordering.
After the first sign in with the box ticked, the customer receives: FOODSlot: You're signed up for order and drop texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
Every announcement ends with Reply STOP to opt out. Replying STOP stops all texts; START resumes them; HELP answers with how to reach us.
Message frequency varies with the vendors whose waiting list the customer joined, at most one drop text from each vendor in 20 hours. Message and data rates may apply.
